I’m so sick of Beyonce’s damn girl power songs. How about a song about the girl realizing she F’ed! up. That would be closer to reality.
But what can you expect from someone that marries Jay-Z. 😦

I don’t listen to ‘hip-pop’ so I don’t know what girl power song you are railin’ on. Quit hatin’ on Jay Z!!
As to why there are no market for girls who messed over a good man, is pretty simple. That market is pretty small. Guys all over the world, still get over on women.
Then, as most of us know, women don’t like hearing bad things about them … sisterhood or in the suburbs. They aren’t going to want to hear that stuff.
Not going to say that I don’t feel you, because I do … I still remember feelin’ Alexander O’Neal’s ‘When The Party’s Over’ ..!
I actually heard a song on the radio today, a relatively new song, sang by a woman who laments leaving her good man. I’ll try to find the name and artist for you. 🙂
I don’t have any kind words to say about the foolish songs Beyonce puts out, so I’m on your side with this one.
LOL. I think your hatred of Beyonce is funny! Women leave good men all the time. Too bad there aren’t too many songs about it.
too be fair I have always felt this way, but recent events give my annoyance more bite.
You know … now that I think of it, one of the things that gets ME about Beyonce is how painful an interview she gives. Not that she is unwilling to talk or anything, but her ‘verbal score’ leaves something to be desired.
It is as though she is really TRYING to say something, but can’t quite get it out. Her platitudes seem forced, and she doesn’t seem to have any conversational flexibility. I don’t think she is dumb, as much as I think she is ‘not smart’.
But that is me …
